Listen with Windows Media Player Plug-in Let me say this before you read our Statement of Faith. There has been controversy the past month or so with friends and others who have sent me e-mails after reading this site and the Statement of Faith. One of the greatest questions I have had, both from people in the United States, and people from around the world is: "Who is Jesus and why do you call Him God and Lord, yet you say that God Almighty is God?" Here is my reply. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. God, His Father, allowed Jesus to come to the earth to reconcile with the people and give us forgiveness and salvation. In the Bible, God's Word, we read in the Book of Isaiah, Chapter 9 and verses 6 and 7 where Isaiah foretold of Jesus who is called "Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." verse 7 "Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD OF HOSTS will perform this." Also in Isaiah we read in Isaiah 7: "....The Lord Himself shall give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel [God with us]....". Read the Bible and then ask me why I call Jesus Lord and God. Even during His earthly ministry and records in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, it is written how people ask why they have not see God [the Father ans Creator] and Jesus replied: "Have you been with me all this time and not seen God? for God is in me and I in Him." Those words are my paraphrase. So as for the Trinity, I know that God is the Almighty and Creator, Jesus is God and the Holy Spirit [Comforter] is God. Here is our Statement of Faith: ~We believe that the Authorized King James Version of the Holy Bible is the most accurate translation of the Holy Scriptures and is the Bible which we prefer. ~We believe the Holy Bible is the immutable, incorruptible, inerrant, and inspired word of God. It was written by men chosen of God and inspired by God and the Holy Spirit. It is good for wisdom, knowledge, guidance and is the way in which God can talk to you. ~We believe in God. Our God is a triune God consisting of three separate and individual persons; God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Three persons making one God who work in conjunction with each other and can not contradict each other. ~We believe that our triune God created the earth and all that is in it, and all the universes. Nothing exists that God did not create. ~We believe that God still lives and He is the same today as He was in the beginning, and will be forevermore. ~We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He was born of a virgin, born without sin. Jesus lived and walked among men. He had an earthly ministry and He set up the Kingdom of God (Heaven) on this earth. He freely allowed Himself to be beaten, suffer, and shed His blood so we may be healed. He was crucified on the cross, died and rose again from the dead, thus assuring us of our resurrection and eternal life. ~We believe that there is a Kingdom of God (Heaven) and there is a Hell where those who reject Jesus will be cast into the lake of fire. ~We believe in the sanctity of the Church and that it is the body of Christians who are the Church. ~We believe that our natural bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and if we defile it, we defile God. ~We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ; that He will come back to call His Church home to the Kingdom of God, and in the Great White Throne Judgment where everyone will be judged for what they have done and believed. ~We believe in water baptism. It is an outward sign of our belief in God and the washing away of our sins, the water being symbolic of the blood of Christ. ~We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit dwells within us to guide us as we journey through this life. ~We believe in speaking in tongues (glossolalia) as an initial outward sign of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Speaking in tongues is speaking in a heavenly language, not a language that was learned, and is used in our prayer lives, in worship, in bringing forth prophecies, and words of knowledge as the Spirit gives utterance. Messages in tongues should always be interpreted, preferably by someone other than the person who brought forth the message, so that it can edify the church. ~We believe no one can take your salvation away from you but yourself, and then only by turning away from God, denouncing Him, or the blaspheming of the Holy Spirit, which is the only unforgivable sin. ~We believe that denominations are made by man, and not by God. ~We believe that salvation comes only through expressed faith in Jesus Christ, the turning away from your sins, and experiencing a personal relationship with the Lord. ~We believe in the sacrament of the Lord's Table and the power of the Lord to perform miracles during the taking of the body and blood of Christ through the bread and drink offering and not forsaking yourselves of the fellowship of the saints. Currently the Staff of Agape Evangelistic Ministries, International, Rev. David E. Okpalachuku and Rev. CVhristopher W. Simiyu, are in the harvest fields holding Crusades, Seminars and Conferences in and around the African Continent and in other parts of the world. They are carrying on the calling that the Lord gave us to evangelize the world, and they are doing this in my place because I am still unable to travel due to my physical problems. They travel using their own funds, most of the time, unless the inviting church or organization helps them with the finances to travel and provide them with food and lodging. Our finances we use to hold Crusades, Seminars, Conferences and travel are gone and no longer available to us. Therefore we are asking those who invite us to assist us with the finances needed to go to their church or nation. But we never ask for any finances for our services while in those churches or nations. We do not take up or accept offerings when we minister. Reports will be sent to me and I will place them in this space as I receive them. ~Rev. William C. Cordaro - Founder, Pastor, Evangelist for Evangelistic Ministries, International~ Agape Evangelistic Ministries, International is seeking monthly donations to help us finance Evangelistic Crusades to all the nations of the world where they can not afford to bring in an Evangelistic Ministry. We need people, who being obedient to the Lord, care about the lost souls of the world who have never heard the Gospel of Christ. People who are willing to help us fulfill the Lord's Great Commission to: "Go ye into all the world to preach the Gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15) We have been invited to go to churches all around the world by their Pastors. The Pastors, Christian Workers, and people are in dire need of Bibles, and supplies. The people are literally dying without ever having heard the Gospel or been given a chance for salvation. Your donations will help us to go to these people and will assist us in these evangelistic endeavors. The burden and costs of these Crusades is overwhelming, and Agape Evangelistic Ministries, International has no way to continue to go to the churches of the world and to those who have never heard the Gospel of Christ or an opportunity for salvation. We do not have huge Evangelistic Organizations backing us or to raise funds for us. Our Staff is unable to finance these Evangelistic Crusades by ourselves, so won't you search your hearts, ask the Lord to show you how you can help, then step out in faith to help us evangelize and teach God's Word to lost souls and those lost in false teachings and cults? We ask you to seek the Lord's will then donate as He leads you. All ministries seek donations to help raise finances for their ministry needs. Even the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association needs donations to help finance their remarkable Crusades. Any donations sent to Agape Evangelistic Ministries, International will be followed up immediately with a receipt you may use for tax deductions. The Evangelical Council of Financial Accountability (ECFA)is an organization that we would like to join to assure all who donate that their donations are being used expressly for the purposes of conducting Crusades around the world. But before we are eligible to become members of the ECFA, we must have received a minimum of $5,000.00 in donations, and have a CPA audit made showing exactly where our donations are used. Since we do not have paid employee's, and the only overhead we have is the use of our computer, all donations are used to fulfill our mission...to evangelize the world. Even the cost of a pack of cigarettes per day or the cost of a can of soda donated will help in these endeavors.
